Well, it wasn't always like that. I think the problem was more evident when Jeff Pinkner left.

So you're saying that JP brought some semblance of good storytelling to Fringe? That it is JW who messed with everything?

I'm saying that when they were working together there was more balance. They would probably discuss ideas, what course they should follow. Wyman was the one who would explain everything with love, he sacrificed the story because of that. Probably Pinkner was the one who tried to balance things out more. I don't know, I just think that Wyman made it all a bit too sappy for my taste.

I've been reading Walter's book and I'm liking Bell! I didn't like him that much on the show since I never new what was his deal but now seeing him protect Walter and the way he's described when he was young, it's different. Does it make sense?

Yes, it does. But it makes what they did to Bell in season 4 even more unacceptable. How far are you into the book?

I'm really liking Bell in the book, I didn't like him so much in season 4

Makeup artists create molds of Leonard Nimoy's ears for his appearance as Spock in INTO DARKNESS.

Quote:
Leonard Nimoy Revisits His Youth

Our favorite Vulcan is the subject of a new documentary by his son Adam, which revisits the actor's early years in Boston selling newspapers and vacuum cleaners, among other things.

They've put the first ten minutes online, and while it's not especially science-fictiony in any way (nor do those first ten minutes yet deal with, shall we say, Pon Farr), it's a fascinating window into the formative years of an icon.

Especially since he seems to have evolved some Shatnerisms in the present day - check out the hand-gestures early on, coupled with an assertion that all his ideas are great.
