Honestly I'm expecting Peter to just reappear as quickly as he disappeared. I'm still trying to figure out what will be the trigger to bring him back. Maybe Walter will go into the tank this time instead of Olivia and will find Peter somewhere in his memories. So my guess is Walter and the tank. :)

I agree. I'm glad Walter is able to see him, because they had the strongest bond, but if Peter can come back on his own, instead of having a full party to go after him like in Over There 1 and 2, that would be amazing.

True, Peter's been the damsel in distress wuite often, but he can get himself out of a fix. As in August.

Actually, you're right. The only times when they let Peter do the saving was when Olivia was still incapacitated from her first trip Over There in early S2. He saved her from the molebaby (although, again, it was Olivia who gave him the piece of bone to kill the thing), and it was Peter who spotted and subdued the rogue Colonel in Fracture.

Well, we saw glimpses of it. For once, there are his weird contacts (without them, Ella would be dead!), and he got himself and Olivia out of a tricky situation in the negotiations they had in The Transformation.

And to be fair, even living on the edge of legality and handling arms deals doesn't prepare you for people who try to force feed you worms that turn into giant octopi in your stomach, or who want to stick you into a machine that can destroy universes.

I think it does. I mean, he is not completely inefficient with weapons or in fights, so I wonder why he's been depicted as a princess in distress in need of rescue every time. Olivia has been caught several times and she was perfectly capable to save herself. What's wrong with him that he can't do the same? That's why I'd like TPTB to shake the writing a bit and let him be an independent human being :shrug:

I know, Olivia is awesome enough on her own, they don't have to make her seem invincible to make her look good. At least we had this scene where Peter was the rescuer for once.

He just helped her out of the tank :lol: It is not about saving her, I think it's fantastic, that she doesn't need anyone. The thing is, it looks like, in order to drive that point home, the male lead is made helpless and dependent and that's not the character they introduced in the pilot :look:

I know it's a lame substitute for the lack of Peter on the show, but I have another poster. I was listening to Beyoncé's Halo on the way home, and I started thinking how well the lyrics fit P/O. All about walls coming down and letting somebody in - and then, of course, there's the whole 'halo' stuff. Can you believe there's not a single fanvid out there to that song? If I had the necessary skills, I'd make on in a heartbeat. But since I have neither the know-how nor the time, this will have to do.
