Eliza Dushku robbed at Rhode Island hotel - UPI.com

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Eliza Dushku was robbed over the weekend.
The 33-year-old actress arrived in Providence, R.I., for Rhode Island Comic Con on Saturday, and was robbed of her Louis Vuitton duffel as she checked in to the Omni hotel. Two men in costume reportedly stole the bag, and Dushku live tweeted the situation as it developed.

"Was just robbed in front of my hotel a few hrs ago," she announced. "Cameras caught everything: hotel/police/security weren't able to do anything. #ricomiccon Really upset. It's been a long night. The 2 men are in my hotel currently and 'nothing can be done.'"

The duffel was a gift from Sharon Osbourne, and Dushku became increasingly distressed as the night progressed. The actress was certain the thieves were also staying at the Omni, and asked her 1.64 million Twitter followers for help. The men were later apprehended with her bag in the hotel.

"Update:men found in hotel, w/my luggage, apprehended & spending wknd in jail until+," she wrote. U guys helped this happen. I am VERY grateful. C u soon."

Dushku is best known for portraying Faith Lehane on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff, Angel. The actress has since starred as Echo on Dollhouse, and will next appear alongside Robert Patrick and Chace Crawford in Eloise.
