I still need to buy the cd. I just haven't found the time to go out and get it.

Go do it! It's beautiful. The album cover is one of my all-time favourite covers. And the booklet inside is beautiful too.

Have you heard all of the songs on Youtube though?

My favourites right now are High Road and Sunshine In My Sky. Sunshine In My Sky just makes me smile and makes me wanted to dance around in circles.

So... has anyone rediscovered some songs they didn't notice as much before, now?

I'm really enjoying "Impatient Girl" and "Beg You To Fall" right now, for example.

Yeah, actually, and those were the first two that came to my mind. There's also "Enough For Always."

I rediscover Kate's songs all the time.

Funny thing is, I was disappointed with this album when I first got it, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it and the more I consider the songs on it to be classic Kate Voegele songs.

Same with me, actually. This was my least favourite album when it came out probably just because I wasn't expecting the new style but now I love it. I think it just took me some time to get used to the different style, probably what happened with you too.

This is just funny to me though because that's exactly how I felt/feel.

I find that funny too. I didn't expect anyone to actually agree with me.

One thing I noticed about this album versus her other ones was the different way she uses her powerful voice. When i first heard it, I thought she was holding back, but after about 50 or 60 listens I'd say she's able to control it more now.

I don't know, I never really thought about that. But thinking about it now I see what you mean.

It's interesting looking back at all of her albums though. Don't Look Away was so upbeat and more rock-ish if that makes sense, A Fine Mess was so mature lyrically, and I think Gravity Happens is maybe a combination of both of those aspects. Gravity Happens has much more instrumentation and stuff. They're all so different though.

Yes, definitely amazing. It just makes me wonder what her next album will be like. I'm sure it'll be incredible!!

Her next album will be as amazing as her first three, I know it!

Any songs you think she should cover on her next album?

She should save the cover songs for her live shows, that's what makes them so special... and often unexpected!

Out of all her cover songs, however, I'm disappointed "Hallelujah" didn't appear on any of her albums (or was it an iTunes bonus track for "Don't Look Away"?)

That's a good point. I forgot that Hallelujah wasn't an official album track. Maybe once I see her live my thirst for covers by her will be sated.
