I honestly thought that he started calling her 'my love' in the books from the beginning and that is the only reason I was against it starting up in BD.. I kept thinking how utterly weird it would be for him to just start that up I am so ditzy.. I had no idea he only started calling her that in BD

I can't wait to hear Edward call Bella "love" after they get married Hopefully if they stick closely to the dialogue in the book then and don't have Edward calling Bella "baby" instead.

Ummm that's not true...he called her 'love' in New Moon...thank goodness for my recent [secret] EB re-reading.

I will just transcript most of what happens.

“Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars –points of light and reason.

I actually always knew it was before they got married. everyone always says it's after and it keeps making me confused cause it seems like I remember him saying it from every book. ....luckily that is my favorite part in the New Moon book. still disappointed with how much was cut out of the well done beautiful speech.

I really, really wished they started the 'love' thing in the first few movies, it is going to be weird for Edward to just start calling her it now I know that alot of you don't agree and that you can't wait for it, but it doesn't make sense to me and I need things to make sense
