Well, they had to keep up appearances. In the books Edward did eat once or twice - once as a dare I believe with Bella and then at the wedding when they cut the cake and had to feed each other. I would have loved to have seen that! And I remember seeing Rosale swirling a carrot stick in her mouth...

That is true... but Emmett was fully digging in.. it was like he couldn't get enough I swear it was more Kellan then Emmett. Even CH mentioned the food eating that he did

The whole point is that human food literally does nothing for these vamps.. it makes them sick and it doesn't taste good at all. But in that scene Emmett is loving it It is obviously an editing mishap.. or maybe they forgot what types of vamps they were in that scene... although you can clearly see how grossed out Edward is at pretending to eat such disgusting crap

Oh Edward was definitely not having any of it.....

It would be awesome if a bloopers DVD was made available. You never know it could happen.
