I agree as well he totally would've let Jacob beat him cause he thought he deserved it. But Emmett would not let that happen just because Edward was self-flogging doesn't mean he was going to let anyone else let alone Jacob of all people touch his brother. Edward was in enough pain as it was he wasn't going to let Jacob inflict any more than Edward was already enduring.

And I would like to be there just to kick him once! I know that's not nice...but he just annoyed me. I hated how he treated Edward when Edward always kind to him. Edward did this for Bella because he knew how much it would hurt her if he acted on his impulses....

Jacob's attitude there didn't suprise me at all.. the kid is always being a punk.. I just loved how Emmett stepped right up into him and blocked the mutt's way It was an awesome moment for us Edward/Emmett fans
