Today really warmed my heart with Jason & Danny. It was a little a strange he would accept Jason as his father so easily.

I honestly what I loved most is that Drew was nice to Jason. It was his idea for them to tell Danny the truth.

Billy did some great acting as he watched Jason & Danny hug. Jason was gonna just give a handshake but Danny wanted a hug.

It looks like we are going to see the brothers finally work together to find out what happened to them.

Steve as usual is good in kid scenes. He does so much amazing acting with just his eyes.

It very refreshing to see Drew feeling sympathy for Jason now. He is realizing that Jason isn't his enemy it seems.

This is what I've wanted since start. I hated we saw Jason not do anything for Drew to be so hostile towards him.

Now maybe we could get something like a friendship eventually.

I'm probably wrong though about that happening.

I have no idea what Sam is doing right now.

Drew thinks they should wait to find out who he is now to get married.

Sam is all desperate to get married right away.

I thought they were planning to write Drew more as the bad guy.

Maybe the writers want JaSam fans to hate Sam b/c they decided it would make those fans not want them together anymore.

They have decided to go with Dream.

I understood her to an extent before the reveal but we are getting nothing diff. from Sam.

She knows without any doubt this is Jason & she doesn't even want to be around him.

Jason has done nothing for her to act this way towards him.



Jason/Carly even never getting together is the best one to ship out of them all.

They will never be destroyed.

I don't know what to think. The thing is that most of all Jason has done nothing at all to deserve Sam to act this way.

He didn't hurt her by being mean or breaking her heart.

Those are ex. of why a woman would act this way to me.

Jason was kidnapped kept away for 5 years & another man literally took over his life.

I feel the longing from Jason but not Sam. He had ask her to stop & just talk to him.

I felt before the reveal with the 5 year speech subtext with Carson is the best we have gotten & love that just is from Sam.

I feel subtext is mostly used in writing for buildup in couples & leaving a couple open to be together.

Soaps use this all the time for open endings to give fans hope.

It's part of why I don't see Supercouple writing anymore.

You have said Jason has gone back & forth between Sam & Liz for years.

GH has written it open for him to be with both.

Jason has chosen Sam but there is still something between Liason that leaves a poss. open for them.

I think I could understand subtext being used since there should be buildup to a reunion in some ways at first.

Then there was absolute truth this is Jason staring Sam in the face literally.

It not only to me doesn't make sense for Sam but for writing a char. in gen. finding out the man they loved after all these years is alive whether you thought someone else was him or not.

So after the reveal is when I feel most the writing is failing. Kelly isn't even being given much to act. She would really have to play it diff. than what is written to me.

The writing for Sam with Drew is so diff. though. I dislike Dream but feel the love between them.

Kelly might be directed to play it this way poss. too.

That's another reason why I'm wondering if the show wants us to hate Sam with Jason.

I didn't see Drew as quite the bad guy yet but thought if I was going to see one in all this it would be him.

I felt the narrative in scene with Jason holding Danny for ex. was for Jason not Drew.

I hated like with Sam now Jason hasn't done a thing to her but he was hostile where she is just cold to him for no reason.

I'm not feeling like JaSam are being written like a supposed Supercouple at all.

You really wouldn't know it just tuning into the show. JaSam honestly were never one to me.

Supercouples are supposed to be written IT for each other with nothing left open with any other pairing.

This isn't true like I mentioned above on Soaps anymore.

That's the way I see Supercouples since that was the orig. writing in the Supercouple Era.

Soaps write couples unresolved & dumb triangles.

The couple has to belong together for sure in the narrative.

That's why I say supposed Supercouple.

I truly felt sorry for Jason Morgan today. He just wanted to give his sons their gifts and things didn't work out for him. This was the first time I felt that way about Jason. Looking forward to more of his relationship with his boys.

Yes and I didn't like how Liz was basically telling Jason to get over his vendetta over franco.

Its like they also ruined any Liason which is said because they were good friends once.

I watched & seriously the writing for JC is the best part of Steve's return for me.

The chem. between Steve & Laura has always been so amazing to me on every level.

The friendship they have in RL leaps off the screen to make JC feel even more real.

Like with Steve & Maurice.

It's why Jason being recast just didn't work.

You can feel the connections across the canvas only with Steve in the role.

So happy with Jason/Steve return SL we got to 3 million in ratings!

I saw the potential of it in the beginning but I think the way it started turned me a bit off of it... I felt Sam reaction to the real Jason was pretty pathetic and turned me off of the whole triangle so I am not caring what happens anymore.

Although I did like their scenes in New Years but it's not connecting with me that much.
