I flove JGL. I was rewatching 3rd Rock from the Sun a couple of weeks ago. It was as glorious as I remember. And man, he was amazing in Mysterious Skin
Ok so since I got my MM DVDs this morning, I might be less active over here. Because holy crap, this release should teach how to properly release a TV show DVD. Audio commentaries for every episode?!! And that zippo edition is just gorgeous |

I loved him in Mysterious Skin too. Everything I've seen him in, he has just been teriffic.
Yay for your DVDs! I know. Commentraies for every episode is just how it should be for every show. ETA: Can I start bitching about the Emmy nominations yet? But, seriously, Boston legal again. House. uugh. I gotta go now, but I'll be back later. __________________

I'm never much into Emmys but I am excited about NPH.
If we were talking about the Oscars I could rant on and on. FNL - one show I'm planning to watch but I can't get passed the Pilot but I heard that it gets better, so I'll keep trying. __________________

Hahaha I rant a lot about the Oscars, too! Actually any awards ceremony is a great opportunity to bitch about

You think I can? I won't miss much if I completely skip practice scenes, games, etc.?

The football is pretty much the backgroud, it's only a few scenes during an episode; most of the interesting scenes happen at school or at the Taylor (eric and tami)'s home

Do - Did you read the book (Mysterious Skin)? I enjoyed the book and the movie. Definitely depressing though.
I'm super happy about all the Mad Men noms (YES!)!!! And I'm happy for some of the other noms like Damages, Dexter, Michael C. Hall, Lee Pace, etc. But, yes, FNL was snubbed yet again as was Kyle Chandler (I naively thought he wouldn't be snubbed yet again). And Connie didn't even make the Tope 10 cut. Plus come on House, Two and a Half Men, Monk, Boston legal, James Spader, etc. Irritating. And we've already talked about snubs like VK. Paula and Do - You guys should definitely give FNL a shot. The show is definitely about alot more than football. I think it's one of the most beautifully shot shows on TV as far as the camera work. And Kyle and Connie (Eric and Tami) are just fabulous as are a few of the young cast members. __________________
