I didn't know how I would feel about lovesick!Barney over Robin, but it's fantastic. I can't wait to see where this season takes us. It's great seeing Barney with a different prupose.

Stella/Ted were cute... as was unemployed!Marshall. But, the hair... NO!

Where do I even start...this episode was the best premiere ever!! Lovesick Barney was the most adorable thing ever! Lily helping Barney out was so cute! De *wait for it* lightful was just awesome! You gotta love Barney! I am loving the direction they are taking Barney & Robin (not that I expected that I wouldn't like it )! This season is going to rock!

Not a huge Ted & Stella fan, but their scenes were pretty cute. I'm glad Ted realized they haven't been going out all that long and don't know much about each other. That was really starting to bug me. I'm very slowly possibly getting on board with them.

Marshall seriously needs a job! The poor thing is going crazy!

Barney was SOOOO adorable, being in love with Robin changed him but not the way he look at himself. He needs to believe that Robin could take a chance on him, but thats for another episode i suppose

anyway LOVED Barney and Robin, Lily and Barney and the way she kept punching him , Ted and Stella were cute and Marshel was his usual hilarious self "What are YOU doing? " he needs to get a job ASAP.

is anyone else in love with Barney's glances at Robin? i swear that finale scene when he turned on the tv to see her, i was in tears
He's so in love and so helpless in the same time, he has to prove his love to Robin and that going to be really difficult for him to achieve.

Gah, I love this show so much.

Barney is awesome as always. He's Barney. I loved the voicemail he left for Robin. I really adore his scenes with Lily and while I don't necessarily ship Barney/Robin, I like seeing a somewhat new side of him.

I died when Lily told Barney to ask Robin something personal and he asked her about her first period. LMAO.

I really really enjoyed the season premiere!

First things first, this is probably the first episode where I've actually really enjoyed Ted and Stella together. I wasn't sold on them last year. But this episode, I really like them.

But the highlight for me was definitely the Barney and Robin stuff.

Robin getting incresingly frustrated with her job brought some good laughs. I liked that.

And Barney struggling with his feelings, all the while still sleeping around, was awesome.

I thought the scene with Barney and Robin at the restaurant where she tries to make him act like normal Barney by saying very crude things was hilarious

And you gotta love Lily and Marshall! Such good-natured people.

I don't think I even know where to start with how much I enjoyed that! It wasn't the most hilarious episode ever, but it was certainly one of the most enjoyable. A summer's worth of anticipation mixed with half an hour of SQUEE.

I love seeing this side of Barney. I think it works so well because as much as it's new to us, it's new to him. He doesn't know what to do with himself and if he wasn't already awesome enough, this new layer just adds a serious measure of extra adorability!

I also love how oblivious Robin is to all of it. She just carries on being Robin and doing all the things that makes Barney love her, instead of realising what's wrong with him, being freaked out and acting weird. That would be sad. I especially loved when she called him back and said "You called me, went UEGFYIDUFHI! and hung up." In fact, that whole scene was fantastic.

I love Stella, I've loved her from the start. I am completely on board with more Sarah Chalke! I think it was quite obvious this episode that they were keeping the storyline in the apartment to that they could film all of Sarah's bits in a chunk while they had her, but it still worked. I loved that when she was texting, she was texting Ted. I loved that she did it for him, and that she was willing to lie about it (I also loved her take on it and when she called Chewie a bear!) to keep Ted happy - something Marshall can obviously understand. After all, he was willing to lie to Lily about liking olives for their entire lives.

I watched the episode live at 4.30am, went to sleep and got up again at 7.30 for work, so I'm kind of sitting here, remembering bits and amusing myself. So I'll probably be back with more to say, but this has been long enough already!!
