Barney aruging things is always amusing.

Yeah, I'm happy for the new ep but not the break afterwards. Not right.

I thought it was a good episode. The Scooby thing got out of hand IMO but whatever
I gotta say I'm glad Barney didn't actually go have brunch with Nora and her parents... the whole episode was kind of hurting my BR heart. |

Barney didn't go in... I am a hardcore BR of course, but it was just so heartbreaking for him to not go in and be the guy he wanted to be for Nora. He acted like he wasn't worthy, that he wasn't ready to be honest with someone he cares about. OMG, how tragic.

I'll be honest, I'm not all too fussed about BR, I don't mind if he ends up with Robin or Nora or anyone else or doesn't at all, but that Brunch scene... wow, I was shocked when it revealed he hadn't gone in. I like the fact he's sort of become "normal" by imagining what he wanted to say, but not actually doing it.
Also, some great continuity moments. "Son of a beetch" and "Bang, bang..." Oh, and the fact that Marshall can be blackmailed by the fact he ate food he dropped! Spot on! (Intrigued by the Mr T dream and "Thermos" though...) __________________

It is not right to end an ep before a hiatus with angsty Barney. Which btw, totally reminded me of Benefits.
Hell most of the ep was a throwback to previous stuff. The scooby plot was hilarious. Will comment more later on. Gotta get to class. __________________

I liked the episode. Honestly I like BR but I'm more concerned about them being happy and if he wants to be with Nora and Robin's totally okay with it, then I'm also totally okay with it. I don't like that they're hinting that it's the first time Barney's felt that way, but I'll get over it.
I liked the dog joke conversations, ending with "stop hounding him." __________________

What hiatus??? I'll have to get my Mr. Segel fix on reruns!!! Rats!!!
This ep was pretty funny and the ending was fabulous. Barney imagining himself opening up, but instead he's on the outside looking in, literally. Very well-written, too. I actually know someone with dog-like characteristics. She drove me so crazy, I had to transfer to a new location, LOL! __________________

Ignoring my want for BR for the moment... I really hope all this angsty Barney is leading somewhere, unlike the last time they started to give him depth and then stopped cold.

My English Lit minor is rearing its ugly head, but I like antsy and confused Barney. Hate to say it, but sometimes The Horn Dog Barney gets a bit creepy and pathetic.
