I have certainly seen Gen 1, I've been watching it right from the very beginning, a friend of mine from the UK turned me onto it ages ago.
But it's safe to say my obsession with the show started the very first episode of series 3, Naomily owned me right then and there

Srsly srsly I'll nevr get over how well that song fits with that scene. I'll never get over where the writers chose to have NE's fist time as well. It's such a beauitful, private place, so unlike the urban concrete walls of Bristol - that yes it's like when they were they were in a new completely different world. Full of colour and full of life, it's literally breathing all around them.

And all the water, well I just love that, the pouring waterful, like all their feelings going straight over a cliff to the abyss, pooling and mixing all together in perfect harmony man.

When you think about the symbolism of the other major couples "First time" then yes it looked as if Naomily was a love you felt made to last, while Ceffy's was a rushed heat of the moment desire and FE was shrouded in darkness both by the setting and Effy's situation. So they were destined to be doomed.

Oh, taht's great! I started with gen 1 too but only became crazy about it with the first episode of season 3 and Naomily. lol

Oh Shaz, yes I watched the movie. It was good. I also ended up watching 2 episodes of this 1980's kids mini-series, called "The visitor from the future". The effects are terrible, but it's strangely addictive
