I felt like they got a sucky storylines.

I liked Dom a lot, he was my fave. Before the creepy hallway sex that is.

yeah but I didn't like that that was his final scene because there wasn't closure. also people here were saying that he raped effy because her consent was ambiguous and that kinda ruined it for me

I don't feel like those two could actually have closure, they were so painfully doomed and hopeless

Hmmm...I don't remember that scene in details...But I guess she could easily knock him off if she wanted to, he didn't really seem strong...

Okay so I just watched it again (skins YouTube upload the scene, big surprise) And it most definitely was not hot like I remember. it's not rape, but basically what happens is she immediately yanks down her pants but then starts wincing when he's inside of her because I guess they went too fast and she's in pain, and he sees that she's crying and feels bad and runs off.

I wish I remembered it as the sexy sexual tension breaking scene That I originally interpreted it as.

So true. Reasons why I hesitate to even watch my favorite episodes, because as an adult flagging all the problematic stuff that I found romantic or sexy as a teenager just makes me cringe Like the Dom fiasco or even as far back as Naomi and Emily, because it took me years of hindsight to realize that their relationship is actually pretty pathetic and abusive.

Yeah, I understand that Emily following Naomi around Like a lost puppy was supposed to be cute, but to be honest I can kind of understand why Naomi was annoyed sometimes…
