A repeat of season 9 (four years ago). AJ and Kirsten threatening to walk.

I don't blame them. However, are they asking for equal pay or parity? Joe is going to be the most paid as he's "the star/face" of the show and has been in the business the longest. KV and AJ should be about equal to MGG though.

No offense to AJ, but I can see CBS fighting harder to keep Kirsten than AJ.

Kirsten never , with exceptions , goes on location shoots . AJ in all truth has had more of a bigger role on the show . Don't want to lose either actress .
I wonder , since Aishia has at least 2 tv hosting roles and Archer,animated series role . I suspect she is happy with her pay .

Like you said, Kirsten doesn't go on location shoots. I've seen many people state that she shouldn't be paid as much since she doesn't do as much.

The point I was trying to make though is we have a bunch of profilers. They would be okay if they lost one. If they lose Garcia though they would almost have to replace her. They've made that character and role too important.

Again, I don't want either to leave. And I wasn't trying to take away importance from AJ/JJ, just saying CBS might see it that way. I would miss JJ, but losing one profiler out of 7 wouldn't be as big of a hit as losing the one technical analyst.

Since Aisha has so many other projects, I'm sure she's fine with her pay. I wonder what Paget, Damon and Adam make? Since they hired Damon after bringing Paget back full time, I can't see Paget earning the same as Thomas did. Adam is probably one of the more paid people (he did get the "with" credit).

Aisha is friends with/works with Julie Chen, whose husband is Les Moonves (the President of CBS). Maybe she could ask Julie to talk to him about this? (Probably not as she might not want to risk losing her jobs or friendship)

Losing Kirsten and A.J. would be such a detriment to the show. Aside from Reid and Rossi they're all that's left that really makes the team what it always was.

Even with no public news on contract deals with AJ cook and Kirsten vargness, as previously posted the criminal minds writers are back getting ready for season 13 . One would think they have to plan out the season, with a possibility of one or two major characters not being on the show . We saw last season, they had to rewrite loss of the season with the loss of Thomas .

So sad i feel like they've added way too many characters than there really needed to be and he wasn't 'needed'
but I'd prefer him leave CM on his own terms rather than be forced out.
I'm sure his cast mates will miss him, especially Kirsten.
