Pretty sure Reid isn't in this one. He'll probably be back in episode 10 or 11.
Tara is back though after missing two episodes. |

Very good episode heavy on Tara , who was on point , almost all women of BAU ep !
Dealing with “Truthers” conspiracy theoriest “ . Hearing Sandy Hook Massacre up ,as a staged buy the government was to Get the public Congress to push stricter gun laws . * That really got to me .. I Ended looking up this as a fact , many groups people tried to claim it was a hoax or actors etc .. * The theme seemed to be find a theory and prove it .. The actress playing Melissa was very good . One place where Spencer was Needed was the whole theme around the book catcher in the rye. Of all the ep to not have Reid ,when there is a discussion of a very famous novel __________________

So I am the only one who watched the episode ? Tara was front and center … when you start a ep with the team giving a profile to truth seekers Conspiracy group , then a min later one pulls out a gun shoots himself in the head , hell of a way to start the episode .

I watched the episode last night. I thought it was very good and one of the better episodes of the season! Both of Breen's episode (Wheel's Up and False Flag) have been the better ones, so maybe he should write the majority of the episodes
I liked how the episode started. It was different and I thought that was a nice touch. Starting with them giving the profile to the group of "truthers" and then all the drama going down with the guy killing himself in front of the BAU. I loved Tara in this episode. It was nice to see her shine and get to know more about her. I've loved Tara from the start and in many ways she reminded of Blake (who I also always liked). I liked that Tara got to use her strengths and interview Melissa. Even though this was a Tara episode, all the members of the team had a good amount of screen time and got to contribute to the case. I also liked the amount of profiling we got. It was nice to see the team work through the case. I felt the writing, directing and acting were all good. Kudos to Zelda Williams for a good portrayal of the unsub. I guess she got her acting chops from her dad! I loved the little bit of humor that was in there as well. Prentiss and Rossi bickering about JFK on the jet and Melissa's astonishment of the team having their own jet. Also liked Prentiss and Tara acting shocked that JJ and Luke just walked right through the metal detector without setting it off. I don't know what part was funnier: Prentiss and Tara's reactions or the fact that JJ and Luke just walked right through oblivious to everything around them And of course, Prentiss and Tara arguing over which one Doug (the guy who shot himself) called a b-itch. "If someone made eye contact with me and called me a b-itch I'd remember" I love you Tara! But I also loved how Tara said he called Prentiss that and then Prentiss said "no, he said that to you" and then Simmons is just in the background all "maybe he was looking between you two" I've seen many people say that this is one of the only Reid episodes where his absence was okay, and I agree. I'm on another forum with a lot of Reid fans and they said while they missed him, the case worked fine without him and that's probably because it was such a good episode. Though I do agree, Matt, that he could have been used with the whole book connection. I can't believe there are people who think Sandy Hook was staged. I was with Tara when she went in the room and just screamed. Another nice moment that was serious but with a little bit of humor. Surprised that doesn't happen more! Oh yeah, and Prentiss talking about arresting the coral Last edited by jls2971; 12-08-2017 at 12:57 PM |

Well as JJ said in the opening profile to man in green t shirt , she went over a lot of major shootings / terrorist attacks that others feel were staged or the 9/11 theory bld where already rigged to explode or the Orlando nightclub massacre .
So they went deep as far as recent events , I was surprised there was no backlash . But in the US so Much else is going on that this just flies under the radar. Even as a grown man with a grown son , I cried a lot the day of Sandy Hook .. 9/11 I was in shock like most Americans . Glad to see no topic is too horrific to use on a crime drama. Edit: the set from last night burned down __________________

That guy being convinced JJ confirmed the government was run by lizard people was funny.
There might have been some backlash about the episode on Facebook. I saw some people on Tumblr saying they were getting tired of the show bringing politics into the show, so there are some people who prefer not to touch on these things. Source Last edited by jls2971; 12-09-2017 at 08:53 AM |

Plenty of dramas that talk about Horrific events in recent history. 9/11 to me , is used way to much on TV . What i would argue for this episode of criminal minds, the plot of dealing directly with Conspiracy theorist . As I Posted before, so many of these events was a Govt conspiracy set up etc. to these people people . So the plot wasn’t anything that was made up .
The scene with Tara and the women going on a rant about Sandyhook was intense . I looked up how some of parents of the Children that were killed ,were harassed by some of these people. Blue Bloods deals with racism corruption terrorism bigotry Child predators . __________________
