Rossi was in synch with everything tonight. I loved that he was worried about everyone's safety. He's concerned look was so sincere, then trying to figure why the profile wasn't working. Good stuff.

Did anyone else find cute how Rossi didn't want to be the lead negotiator because he knew Prentiss and Reid too well? Okay, so maybe cute isn't the right word, but mostly, the way he admitted that he was emotionally involved with them, it was... nice. I know it's obvious and it's what makes sense to say, but hearing it from Rossi was... well, nice

I was a little on the bench when I knew someone else was coming on the cast because Mandy Patinkin was leaving. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and I really love the dynamic that Rossi brings to the show. |

I love how the character is progressing. When he first came onto the show, he was mysterious and quiet and had Garcia finding out details for him on that case. Now he's open and realizes the team is there to help him so he's more open and softer if that makes sense in regards to emotions. Like last night's episode when he was telling Jordan it was okay if this job wasn't for her. |

That scene with Jordan was so absurdly sweet
 He saw how shaken she was, and he was very protective and comprehensive. Shows how much he cares about all of the team members. |

But I think that will be Jordan's reason for exit and JJ to come back is that Jordan cannot take the realism that comes with the job, it's not just paperwork.
But I like that Rossi was in tune to see she was shaken. |

It was unusual to see too because he's come across as a bit of a hard ass you know.
