Still trying to finish Never Fade so I can get to Me Before You. I'm just inching my way out of a massive reading slump that has plagued me these past few months and it's still gong slowly.

Never Fade Love that series. Me Before You is such a tear jerker I'm seeing the movie on the weekend.

I love it as well. Although I have to say I liked The Darkest Minds better than Never Fade. Just finished it.
I'm really in the mood for contemporary right now, so I'm excited to read Me before You. Also, I have come to realize I barely own any contemporary books. |

My heart broke in that book for Liam/Ruby The last book was great though
Contemporary books can be pretty great, it's good to have some variety. |

I still have The Darkest Minds laying around somewhere that I haven't read yet.

I just bought "The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out a Window and Disappeared" by Jonas Jonasson. It sounded really funny.
I also bought 1984 by George Orwell because I felt like it's one of those books everyone should own a copy of. I believe those are both standalones. And as it turns out, Me Before You isn't. But I am really loving it. |

I have heard of 1984, but don't believe I have read it.

I read this book while on my trip, and its now in one of my fav stand alone The premise may be done before, but the authors creates it and writes it beautifully.

^ That sounds really good. Is it a fast pace read?
I'm going to see if my library has it. |

It seems really good.
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne is one of my favorite standalone books. Also another new favorite is Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young. __________________

And yes, The Hating Game was a brilliant standalone. Loved that one as well. |

I started to read The Hating Game but couldn't get far into it.
