I love Sarah Dessen. I love all of her books, especially This Lullaby, The Truth About Forever, and her new book, Along for the Ride. I just get so wrapped in the characters!

I'm kind of disappointed that it'll be a pretty long wait until the next book since she tries to put one out every two years. I was hoping inspiration would strike her and she'll put out another book by the end of this year like she did this past year, but I doubt it.

I always wanted to ask her if she ever thought about doing a series? Or if she would want to write a sequel to one of her books? I would love to see what has happened between Remy and Dexter or Macy and Wes.

So I finally got around to getting Along for the Ride, and I ended up loving it. I find Auden/Eli to be adorable, the whole story was really interesting. And the funny part was when I was reading it, I stayed up until like 4am because I just kept reading and couldn't get to sleep, and it reminded me of Auden.

I think it's tied for 2nd with Just Listen in my favorites...I loved it, but not as much as The Truth About Forever which is still my all time favorite of hers and has been since I read it (and it was the 3rd book of hers that I read).

Dreamland, I think has the overall best story. There hasn't been one Dessen book I didn't enjoy.

I am so excited that I just discovered this part of the forum!
I am a HUGE sarah dessen fan! My favorite books of all time are Just Listen and Along for the Ride. When I read Just Listen I just had a strong connection to it because of my love of music.
I got a chance to meet sarah this summer at a lunch and she is so amazing and sweet! I just love her

so I got a little crazy and thought that the opening post could use some excitement so I went ahead and made this. It's nothing special, but I felt like doing it

I've recently read The Truth About Forever and Along for the Ride. In the past I read This Lullaby. I think my favorite so far is TAF; Wes and Macy's game of truth seriously melted my heart. <3 I think I identified most with Auden, though.
