That's pretty good. I'm staying at the MGM Grand on the strip. Cost me $1000 for a week. My flights from Melb - NYC - Vegas - Melb cost me about $1300 each, so just over $2000 which is good considering.
yeah August will be hot, but I imagine not as hot as June? |

Usuually July and Aug are hotter. And I know in Aug it can and will get to 120 degrees but it's a dry heat, no humility and here that is what kills us in the summer. I'm used to 90-100 degree weather but once you add in the humility it's more like 110.

One of my co managers used to have family in that area and she was like you do not want to go in Aug.
I can still change my vacation to later. I think if we are going to go we are probably going to go in Sept or Oct.__________________

Craig still isn't sure about it. He doesn't like to spend a lot of money. He thinks $1300-1500 for a 4 star hotel for 4/5 nights plus flight is a lot of money to spend. Then we will probably spend at least another $1000 while there.
Still not sure. He wants to road trip up north and hit a few of the big theme parks. But that's probably going to be at least $1000 if not a little more. __________________
