I agree, I liked that it was completely obvious where the story was going. It would make a great movie. There's lot of action and the pacing is good.

I finished this one today and really enjoyed it. It was very similar to THG, but I still liked it. I wish it hadn't ended where it had though, I get so tired of every book having a sequel or trilogy, nothing ever ends with things resolved. That being said, I like where this series is going.

Loved Day, normally I don't usually like the male lead, but I really liked him.

I have no idea who they'd cast for a movie, but for Day, I kept picturing Caleb from Pretty Little Liars, yes I know he's not a blonde, but that's how I saw Day. I then started to picture Emily from PLL for June, lol.

Yeah. I felt things didn't really get exciting or really move until half way into the book. And then by the time things were happening the book ends

It was a quick read. I'm eager to see where the series goes though.

I figure we are at least a year away from the next installment though.

I wish we had found out why they failed Day in the trials whereas June got the same score. Was it because of the experimenting? I wasn't clear on that.

I believe it was Witht fact he lived out in the slumps, so they felt it was easier to do that to him rather than the daughter of the general, or whomever her father was.

I assumed it was a class thing. June's father worked for the Republic as a scientist. He uncovered what was really going on and tried to leave which is why they had him and his wife killed.

I keep reading reviews that say this was like a futuristic Robin Hood and I can so see that, though while reading I never thought much about it.

I have this book, and a few other good ones coming my way via my valentine's package from my boyfriend from Amazon. I've heard nothing but good things about this book so I'm excited for it.

It was very enjoyable and a quick read. I highly recommend if you're a fan of The Hunger Games or other books of that genre.

I can see the Robin Hood connection as well.

I am already looking forward to the sequel, no matter how far it seems right now. I think it'll be even more interesting with June/Day now that they found out what's going with the plagues.
