Its been mentioned a couple times on FB, but HV is more romance and character development, so the plot is minimised, unfortunately. I didn't mind so much, but figured to give you a heads up.

Yes, we do see Christan. We heard about Mac, but don't see her. We see Barrons.

By the time we saw her again she was just mentioned in passing and nothing more about her being pregnant.

I've slowly been lending my books to a work friend, and she's just about finished with Burned. The only comments I seem to get from her from the series.. is. I love this series. It was so good. Nothing in depth It's a struggle.

OMG my sister is like this with TV shows. I have to pry stuff out of her. I wish she was into fandoms like me.

How did y'all like book 6? I like Dani well enough as a side character but not sure I want a whole book in her pov.

After reading 5 amazing books set int macs POV, book 6 was hard to take because I remember just really missing Mac/Jericho. And Dani's dialogue was so annoying I wasnt that thrilled, but there were some things about it that I really loved, like the Dani/Ryoden thing. I do agree the later books got more interesting but tbh books 6-9 were not my favorite. I vaguely remember them because I only read them once. They had their ups and downs but 1-5 is definitely the heart of the story for me.

I've started #10 and I am enjoying it, but not totally invested because I cant follow a lot of the mythology but its still fun for me because i like this new mix of "jayda" and the old dani. Jayda was too harsh but it seems Dani has sort of returned. Plus I like that its a new storyline... I'm about 200 pages in, which isn't much but trying to read about 30 a day. I have some other books I want to focus on but I cant just leave this sitting in my iBooks, I HAVE to read at least part of it. I love dani/ryden a lot. loved the scene where he left her and said under his breath to come to him when she planned to stay. To me they have always had jericho/mac vibes.

I think that's how it might end up being for me too. I might end up enjoying it but I still think I'll miss Mac and Jericho too much. But who knows. I could come back and love it equally or more.

You would think you would miss Jericho/Mac but "Mega' Dani is awesome - plus the almost as epic Ryo|Dani they compare in intensity for me to Jericho|Mac

Does anyone have any fancast for the books? There are some people I've thought of but I would really like to finish the books and then maybe reread them before I fully cast who I like. So I can get a much better idea of the characters.
