I remember crying because of Sirius' death in Harry Potter. And while reading Twilight series, too.

A Walk To Remember is the only book that's made me cry. Although reading A Fine Balance did make me a bit depressed due to all the negative things that happened to various characters in it.

I've read the first 2, but what is the last book you mentioned about?

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne

-- i had to read it in school a couple of years ago it is such a beautiful, sad book. It's set at Auschwitz during WWll & its told for the point of view of a little German boy who makes friends with another boy over the other side of the fence who is in "striped pyjamas"--

it is such a moving book i loved it

Eclipse, hands down. This book made me cry myself to asleep.

The scene where Bella and Jacob say goodbye to each other. I literally couldn't stop crying.

I haven't cried while reading a book in quite some time. I suppose I haven't read anything that tugged the heartstrings recently.

Bastard Out of Carolina by Dorothy Allison is the only one this year that has left me in tears. The ending was perfect and terrible all at once.

My Sisters Keeper - Really, really heartbreaking. Even now thinking about it... such a sad ending.

Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince - I sobbed my heart out when Dumbledore died, I even knew it was coming (spoiled by accident grrr) but it was so horrible.

New Moon - When Edward left Bella. Gut wrenching. Absolutely gut wrenching. And I could sense it coming too but when it did... oh boy.

Kite Runner - When Amir learned what happened to Hassan. I was on the train reading this and I couldn't stop the tears!
