I know that they want to be more diverse, which is great, but I didn’t like that they made Dawn Latina and non-blonde and not pale or look very Californian at all or have very, long blonde hair, which was one of the staples/highlights of the book series. Mary Anne was mixed, which isn’t that big of a deal, but it makes her look nothing like Kristy, which was another staple of the book series, how Kristy & Mary Anne looked alike, but were quite opposite in personality.

Oh, no! The original show aired 13 episodes back in 1990, originally on HBO and Disney Channel reaired some of the episodes later, and I believe all of the episodes were later released on VHS. The only way to watch the episodes now are in very low-quality on YT.

I still know all of the words to the theme song!

Aww, that's good news! I just finished it this week and I really enjoyed it. It's different from the books, but I never saw the original show because I didn't air where I live, so I don't mind the new take on it. Looking forward to season 2!
