That's great. Later this week I'll go to the bookstore and see if they have the book.. but most likely I would have to wait a few more weeks.

I'm almost finished the book and I have to say it's an awesome sequel, maybe better than the first one. I am really loving the direction they've taken the series and I'm already wanting the next one.

I'm so glad this wasn't a huge disapointment.

I just read the first one and loved it. I can't wait to start the second one.

I'm so sad at Harley though.

Elder's best friend. He was the artist that killed himself by letting himself fly out of the hatch.

I don't care if I'm the only one that feels this way, but I felt more of connection between him and Amy then Amy and Elder.

Oh really? That's interesting.

Throughout the book.. I felt so sad for Amy and wanted her parents to be with her.

I did too.

With Elder and Amy I felt like it was more of a physical/lust connection.

The ending I was very shocked at the surprises. That they should of landed 150 years ago and wasn't even half way there yet. Which I had a suspicion with Amy saw those genealogy trees and said they should of landed by now.

And that Elder was the one that unplugged Amy. I mean how do you "forget" that?

Yeah. I get why he did unplug her though.. he wanted someone to talk to.

I was shocked that they should have landed already too. And I guess her parents can't wake up until they arrive? It's been like a year since I read the book.. so I forget some details.

That's right. She thought about waking them up, especially her dad since he's like the 6th in line and is the back up plan. But she knew they are both needed on the new planet.

Yeah, and they would die if she would wake them up now.

Get ready for many more twists in the sequel, some that you'll see coming and others you won't expect. I really loved it.

Fear not, Harley is not forgotten, they mention him all the time in the follow up, especially Amy. I also wondered for a minute if they were going to triangle out Harley/Amy/Elder in the first book, especially after Harley saved Amy from the near rape. I could have seen the connection there.

I was never huge on Amy/Elder for several reasons, some that even Amy herself bring up in the sequel, why should you love someone when they are your only choice? I thought they worked much better in the second book though.

Finished the second book last night.

The twists in the book . I just wanted to tell Elder to stfu through the whole book though.

I wasn't surprised at Doc. I never trusted him to begin with.

I'm still not all aboard with Elder/Amy. Like you said and she mention in the book is it really love when there's no one else? And I wonder if there was someone else or even if she had more friends if she would still chose him.

Going back to the first book. There was a chapter about regrets and she was remembering right before she had left when her and Jason went to a restaurant and in the bathroom some girls had said that Jason had cheated on her and called Amy another name. I still don't see the point in that. All it did made me want to know if he was cheating on her.
