This can sadly happen. I really hope it doesn't happen with her bc then she would have to go into drug rehab too afterwards. That's why I think she should let the therapist show her all forms of therapy and that her therapist is a good one who first tries all non-medication options. Bc there's officially no evidence antidepressants help with PPD or at least not as main part of the therapy. And other psychological therapies often help more. And that if she feels something is not good for her that she has (despite her depression) the strenght to say no. I can only pray for this bc antidepressants can really make everything worse.

Her depression is actually more severe then we thought.

Hayden Panettiere's dad addresses postpartum depression

She already got outpatient treatment for some time now, but it nevertheless became worse and worse and then she (I think quite suddenly) decided to go to a psychiatric center and will stay there for a whole month apparently. The center is in Malibu. So when she went to LA this week she most likely prepared to enter treatment there.

When wlad has his fight she will be out of it again. I wonder though if she will come.

As for Nashville she will definitely skip at least 2 eps I think.

Her dad says she will be fine. I like it that at least he adressed this issue in the public.

Her acting is great and she deserves an emmy for it. Bit some of her on-screen suffering might be real sadly bc she's in a very similar situation.

Agree, maybe the source is wrong. To me it sounds like someone working in this facility who wants to stay anonymous. Someone who doesn't care for medical secrecy and wants to earn some more money with this. Some people are just like this.

Anyways since she apparently got outpatient treatment for quite a long time before it might show that her depression is that severe that she needs a whole month to recover.

No but they don't like to keep people in a hospital longer than they need to. Most of the programs for this that I have seen say they're about a week.

Either way, her heeling will take much longer.

I don't know maybe the first part of treatment with medication will only be a week like most of these programms. But she may stay there for some more weeks for the psychological part. You know getting in contact with her daughter etc.

And we don't know in what state she was when she entered treatment. Maybe she had suicidal tendencies. Not that i think she tried to commit suicide but she maybe thought about it.
