I agree, Karen. It's kind of impossible for him not to, IMO. He's the closest person to both Casey and Cappie. He knows them best and seems to get that they belong together. I can't wait to see the Rusty/Cappie interaction. It ended on such a sweet note with the hug.

I loved the hug at the end itjust showed how far their elaionship had prgressed

I agree I think Rusty will play a big part in getting Casey together wth Cappie. Rusty te Matchmaker would be totally adorable

As much as I hope he'll try and get them together, I don't know if he will. I mean, I wonder if it's Casey who will be helping Rusty get over Jen?

I think that Casey will probably be helping Rusty get over Jen K and Rusty doing the same for Casey.

I know that Rusty will always choose Cappie of Evan if Casey ever asked him. They have become close I still love that hug at the end of Episode 10

I love how he let Cappie know in his own way, that he did not have to explain Rebecca to him. At first, I thought he would be angry, but thinking about it. I think he knows how bad Cappie was hurting, because of Casey's rejection to him, after putting hisself out there for her again. So, I think, Rusty understands, that, if Casey is not going to be with Cappie, that Cappie should try and move on, even if it is with Rebecca, so I think, that is why I wasn't so shocked, that he wasn't pissed about catching them together.

They have such a great bond..

I couldn't agree more, Karen. I think Rusty definitely understands where Cappie's head and heart are at and he probably just wants him to stop hurting. Especially being he himself is in pain, you know? I thought the writers handled that perfectly. His initial shock, but then letting Cappie off the hook in their last scene.

They were both going through heartache being rejected or betrayed. So I can understand why Rusty let him off the hook too. He could see how bad Cappie was feeling and just wanted him to be ok and ease the pain.

I really thought that was handled well at the end in the finale.

It was. However, I think Rusty was still a little bit in shock that morning and the additional surprise of seeing Casey drive by. I think Rusty will end up in the middle of Cappie and Casey and finally lose his mind and scream out "Just tell her you love her" or something like that!

That would be awesome. I could see himself, in sort of a tug-of-war and him just blurt out in front of both of them, grow up, get over it, you love eachother, move on... I'd love to see that..

Aw, I would love to see something like that.

No one ever really expects outbursts like that from Rusty, so when he does have them, people just look shocked. I bet Cappie would be like, the hell? Hee!
