No work tomorrow, so catching up on my posting and my shows that I missed over the weekend!

I dyed my hair today. I hate having to dye it, but it was really necessary because my roots were really really showing. And now it's too dark and too redish. I'm hoping I can still fix it. Eitherway, I'm getting a balayage put in soon, so maybe I can just ask the hair stylist to put something close to my natural color back on first.

Hope you get that worked out for you, Val! I've never full on dyed my hair. I've only ever had blonde highlights in it.

It always happens. If I pick a darkbrown shade, it turns out almost black, and if I pick a somewhat lighter shade, it's too light. So I can only wait, and wash my hair thoroughly, and hope it looks the way I want it to look by the time I get my balayage and school starts. I just really don't like that it always has to look so dark for the first one or two weeks. And by the time it looks like it's supposed to look, my roots already start to show again. So I think I'll just go back to my natural shade. Maybe if this colour turns out alright, I'll just get the balayage, because that on its own will lighten the whole thing up and be a new look for me (never had a balayage done before). And then when winter comes around, I'll go back to my natural colour and have another balayage done. I'll see when the time comes. I just really want to stop colouring it.

Day off, so I'm just doing laundry and chillin' around the house. And posting, of course! I think my family and I are gonna get Chinese food tonight for dinner!

OMG, a very interesting thing happened to me this morning ! (it's kinda Ashley-related but it's a personal story so I guess I can post here ?)

Anyway, I was at my (new) school's ceremony to celebrate the school kicking off a new school-year. And there was a cheerleading performance which features a great mix of songs, they were all recent hot songs and I really enjoyed the performance, and suddenly ACTING OUT came on !!! And I totally went crazy ! Like, Acting Out is not even a single, and it's 3 years ago, and Ashley's not really the most popular star in my country, so I'd never expected to get to hear a song by Ashley, but Acting Out was featured in the mix, it was only a small segment of the song, but it was totally awesome, and it certainly made my day !!!!!! I'm speechless (((((( OH.MY.TISDALE !

Called my hair stylist today and she's already stopped by! We decided to put on a shade 6 (I had a shade 4) to lighten it up. It still looks really dark though, even though she shade is called natural dark blonde. And she didn't put in a lot of highlights, and they're not very light either, because we didn't know how it was gonna look. It will all turn lighter after I washed it though. And if not, I can call her and she'll put in some more. I'll see what it looks like next week. Right now though, it's way too dark for my tastes.

So tired! Had a very fun day though, and finally picked up my books and timetable! I like my timetable though, so it's all good. I was fearing I'd have late nights because I have to travel a lot but my latest finish is 3 PM!

My hair still looks red. The hair stylist said it didn't but it does. And my Dad was making mean remarks about it, saying I wasted my money. And the highlights are invisible. I had pictures and everything of how I wanted it and still it doesn't look anything like it. I hope she's right about it lightening up after I washed it!
