Wait a second. In that podcast (listening now) Jenna says she got sent the script for the movie John is doing with Drew and she said she can't take it. Does she mean because in essence she wants a break from working with John (which I get) or they're not allowed to work together?

I'm curious as to how to take that statement as well.
I really enjoyed that interview. Some new tidbits. I always enjoyed that NPR one she did a few years ago and I think this was even better. Sucks she had to smoke when it made her feel like crap though. __________________

Mmm.... I got the impression she meant that she wouldn't get the part because one of them was already in the movie. Like people wouldn't cast her in something RW, JK, EH, or SC was involved in. I could be wrong but that was my impression.
I just thought the whole bit about how she and JK, RW, EH and SC get the scripts was amusing. __________________

I got that impression too. Karen and I were discussing it and we both seemed to feel the same. Who cares if they're on a show together? If they can do the part better than anyone else, why does it matter if an Office costar is in the movie with them?

Oh, IA with that but I tend to think it's more like "OMG! It's Jim and Pam from the Office!" or "OMG! It's Andy and Jim!" or "OMG! It's Andy and Pam!" and they just seem to want to avoid that distraction. I get that. It's still lame but I can see it.

It doesn't; I just think they don't want to use them in the same movies because they're so identified at this point as Jim, Pam, Andy, Michael and people are liable to get distracted. That's just how the whole thing played to me.

Nothing else makes sense, but it's still interesting.

Me either. It would be interesting to see John and Jenna in the same movie, playing different characters. Maybe one day when the show is over.
I do like that they're all getting the same scripts though. __________________

It must be aggravating at the same time though since they won't do stuff together. What if two of them, not just J/J, have a really strong desire to do a film. Do they flip a coin? Both pass?
