Despite those differences, though, they have what it takes to make it work. Jackie needs an anchor to pull her back to earth when she gets carried away; Hyde needs someone to care for. They were both abandoned by their parents and never really experienced true love. They don't make the perfect couple, but that's just what makes it even more appealing. The chemistry's undeniable and it's always nice to see the softer side of a self-proclaimed 'badass'. They may seem 'creepy and unnatural' to their friends, but to us they seem just ideal for one another."

Oh, but they did. Season 8 did not happen! Tanith eradicated it! (I love that word. It's fun to say.)

As promised...

New Episode Discussion Time: Christmas

Jackie comes in and announces that she's been kicked off the cheerleading squad. She needs Steven to take her to the school Christmas dance the next night. They'll never take her back if she doesn't show up all proud. Hyde says if he has to go, the other guys are coming too. At the dance, Jackie and Hyde encounter Julie, one of the cheerleaders, who Jackie promptly insults. It's the only language they understand, Jackie explains. . Julie's impressed that Jackie's dating an older man. She's jealous, she tells Jackie.

Since that summary sucks here are the main tidbits you need to remember...

1) Jackie pouts and Hyde gives in
2) "Bolo?" Jackie pouts and Hyde gives in
3) Jackie and Hyde dancing
4) Jackie telling Hyde she gets to keep the cheer leading uniform
5) Jackie does a little cheer leading routine for Hyde in the Forman basement

Now... GO CRAZY!

Yeah, from what I saw they jumped the gun on ya, Chris. I was away but they posted the summary for Christmas about halfway through the last thread and posted pictures and talked it to death and were even talking about moving on.

I have very little control over it. They were like manic speed posters, I tell ya.

Each and every pout int hat episode is classic!

Another one of my favorite parts is when she's introducing him to Julie. He's Steven J. Hyde, III. He looks all badass and says. "Yeah, the first two are in jail." Or something like that, and she laughs that fake laugh then gives him a look.

Yeah, it actually is one of my favorites. It's kind of the point where they are, once again, settled in with each other. No more drama, just JH cuteness and Jackie pouts. And all his little "fines" just show that he really was whooped.

Also, the dancing scene - they look so happy and in love.

And then, of course, the TNT scene. Holy crap. I think I've rewinded that and watched it a 100 times. Off topic: I happen to think Kelso looks super hot in that scene.

I'm really glad that the eppys in syndication stil lhave the TNT song in it. It just wouldn't be the same otherwise. I love the way Hyde looks around, with that disgusted, badass smirk on his face.

Even Eric looks pretty....manly.

You're right, all three in that first slo-mo scene look pretty badass. Hyde more, but that's natural. Like I said, even Kelso looks good. Not when he's flipping his hair,

, but the part right before.

And yeah, without TNT, it would suck.

What it all comes down to is that Jackie was smart to bring Hyde, cause that one girl was right. He IS totally cool... and a fox.

Thanks for letting me know Michelle... I kind of feel like I'm not needed in this thread anymore. I know it's weird but it's like when this thread was dead I started the episode discussions to get it moving... This is even before I was moderator here! It's my thing and it's been taken away from me

AW, it hasn't been taken away. I'll try harder to stop them from doing that. I wasn't here, though. I agree with you that it should be slowed down cause if we discuss every episode then there's nothing to talk about eventually, and I've come to actually like the organization. I totally get it now.

We won't let anyone take it away. It's still yours.

You ARE needed. It gets all chaotic without you.
