Zenmasters #122: Because she wouldn't let Hyde fall off the water tower!

Banner courtesy of swedish fan at Pure Zen

Jackie and Hyde, the perfect example of Opposites Attract
He's aloof.
She's affable.
He likes Led Zeppelin.
She likes ABBA.
The list goes on.

Despite those differences, though, they have what it takes to make it work. Jackie needs an anchor to pull her back to earth when she gets carried away; Hyde needs someone to care for. They were both abandoned by their parents and never really experienced true love. They don't make the perfect couple, but that's just what makes it even more appealing. The chemistry's undeniable and it's always nice to see the softer side of a self-proclaimed 'badass'. They may seem 'creepy and unnatural' to their friends, but to us they seem just ideal for one another.

I wanna rip her hair out, show it to her, and hope it grows back differently. That's how much I hated it. It was either a wig, or they spent a lot of time and a lot of product taking the natural look of Mila's hair and just *****ing it.

Wow. I thought it looked natural, but didn't really fit in to the 70's-80's look. They should have made it a bit "wavier"..... I've seen my mom's old pictures, and it seems like hair got more feather-ish in the late 70's.

So hopefully the hair won't look all season like it did in the premiere.

Thread 121 needs to be closed.

Lets hope.

Donna's hair bugs me more. It's not really the blonde thing that bugs, it's how it looks all 2004-ish It looks too modern, and not AT ALL like the late 70's.... I know Donna's a tomboy and is not hair fixated like Jackie so they can't really do much with her hair.... but still.... her hair was pretty plain in season 4 aswell, but it still looked very 70's.

Yeah, I think the fact that it has the bang/layers but is lying flat like people are doing now gives it away. It should probably either be one length or more done up. And since it's Donna...one length. I loved her hair the first four seasons!! And what happened to that fun braid stuff she used to do? I realize that was earlier, but still, she's not bound by changing styles. She does what she likes, right?

But you girls forget that we in the 21st century are wearing our hair like they used to back then...hopefully never like the eighties, but definitely the 70s...so what we see looks normal. I admit that it is a little more updated, but still the same concept. My mother had long black straight hair, so it's not completely of course.

Oh yeah, I've noticed that the seventies hair (and sixties--short bangs were more mod, layers more seventies) has come back--but its the "updated" quality that you mentioned that is present in their hair which gives it away.
