How are you? Hope you’re doing well. Just want to make a quick post to alert anyone that’s interested, that I posted up a new story today. This story is really kinda different from my usual stuff, it’s shorter and it’s not the fluffy comedy stuff either. This story was actually written a few days after hearing the new of Lisa Robin Kelly’s passing. And it is of course dedicated to her.

I hope nobody is upset or offended by the story and instead will enjoy it. I would also like to say a big thank you to Lisa for her wonderful support on the posting of the story. Thank you Lisa!

Here’s the info:

Angels to Fly

Summary: Laurie pays a visit to her father and shares with him a very important message. A story written in loving memory of Lisa Robin Kelly.

Againi hope no one I upset or offened about me writing and posting such a story. I hope those who read it like it.
, Prissy! I saw this in my e-mail inbox this morning. I'll be reading this one soon (and I'll have tissues nearby just in case ).

Thanks Lisa, the story is pretty much the same thing you read weeks back just cleaned up a bit. Thanks again for your support in posting the story. Was still kinda nervous about posting it but hopefully all will go well, really don't want to upset or offend anyone.

I think enough time has passed -- and your story is lovely (made me tear up; I remember now).

Thanks Lisa and of course it was your advice I followed on waiting sometime before posting. So far readers have been very kind and left very touching words well except one reader who put 'I do not get it' but I messages them offering to explain whatever needed explaining, haven't heard back from them though *shrug*

You're welcome, Prissy. I'm glad the story's getting nice reviews. It really is a moving tribute to Laurie and, by extension, LRK.

I don't get what's "not to get," though. Weird. with you.

That was my same thought, about what there was 'not to get' it was short and I thought kinda self explanatory but hopefully I hear from the reader. So I can explain what they don't get and I can find out what it was they don't get.

I'll get a random review like that once in a while, where the person is the only one who doesn't get something in my story. Now if you (or I) got 20 people saying, "Why did such and such happen?" maybe there's an issue.

Lisa, thank you for your very sweet review! I'll send a proper thank you note soon. And you brought up a very good point about it just being one person. Though still with such a vague statement I can't help but wonder what they meant.

Colleen, thanks! I hope that you enjoy the story.

You're very welcome, Prissy. His statement on one of my stories was vague, too. I didn't try to make sense of it. I simply thanked him for the comment.

Hello, everyone! As I've been reading through all the Zen threads, I realized we haven't had a "Best of Zenfic" list compiled in over six years. A lot of great Jackie and Hyde fanfics have been written since 2007. So how about we each list our ten favorite Jackie and Hyde fanfics (from any year)? You can put your list here or in the Zen thread: http://www.fanforum.com/f27/zenmaste...05/index2.html

Random Fanfic Rec of the day

Jekyll and Hyde by Mistiec

Summary: The students at Point Place High knew senior year meant changes. They just weren't prepared for how many there actually would be.

Rated: T

My opinion: A unique, creative, and well done story. We see Jackie and Hyde through the eyes of outsiders.

This is a classic. I love this one shot. I really wish we could have seen on the show what everyone at school thought of J/H dating.

Awesome.

Nancy, "Jekyll and Hyde" really is an interesting story, huh? Brings to mind how weird "Christmas" is -- in that Jackie's cheerleader friends don't know Hyde is her boyfriend, the man she'd been dating for a year-and-a-half by then.
