I think you are pretty spot on Lisa. I can see Jackie getting grossed out by doing a diaper change, but wanting to be involved in other aspects.

Jackie wouldn't want to deal with any of the "gross" aspects of taking care of a baby. No burping a baby because of spit-up and such. Imagine if Jackie got baby!spit-up on one of her designer outfits?

If Jackie got spit up on one of her outfits, one I wouldn't want to hear the scream, two I can see Hyde having to majorly calm her down.

She would totally scream! Ow! Hyde might go deaf. So would Betsy.

Eric wouldn't like being spat-up on either, but he wouldn't freak out. He'd just be grossed out. Maybe Kelso and Fez would declare Hyde and Donna the winners and say they should dump Jackie and Eric and get with each other.

Hyde and Donna would each have to help Eric and Jackie get used to the gross stuff.

Exactly! Hyde would get Jackie a box of elbow-length dish gloves she could use to change the kid and a ton of over-sized spit-up cloths to cover her outfits.

Which is why Jackie/Hyde and Eric/Donna make a great team. Hyde and Donna would do all the dirty work like changing diapers. Its good to have some help when you're babysitting a baby because it can get overwhelming if you're by yourself. I'm speaking from experience since I had to babysit my niece last night

If Jackie can't touch an egg she won't be able to change diapers.

I wonder how Eric and Donna's parenting style would compare to Jackie and Hyde's. Would they argue with each other about the way they're raising their kids?

I could see the two couples clashing over parenting at some point. Hopefully they'd be able to help each other though and give each other advice.

Yeah, I hope they'd get to that point, too. But I can definitely imagine Donna being worried Jackie would instill superficial values in her own kids. But Hyde's Jackie would've grown past that (mostly). Jackie would, however, get their kids every toy she could. And Hyde would probably be okay with that as long as they also taught their kids -- when they're old enough -- the value of hard work.

I think both couples would eventually be good parents and support each other. It just would take some trial and error.

Ooh, maybe Kelso would try to give both couples parenting advice because he's been a parent the longest. Red and Kitty might overhear this and totally burn him and override his advice.
