I think Red says, in the ep with the pregnancy scare, that with Donna as the kid's mom, s/he could be an athlete (if not, it seems like a Red thing to say ). Donna was in JV wrestling and good at basket ball and other sporty things. So her and Eric's kid would have a chance.

Red would probably happy if Eric and Donna, Laurie and whomever, and Jackie and Hyde had enough athlete kids to be the entire Packers team.

Don't be so confident that they are and will be together. Not everyone ships that couple. I don't.

I think I remember Red saying that too. Donna was pretty athletic.

I'm neutral when it comes to Eric/Donna. It is Jackie/Hyde that I have a problem with.

Whay you two were discussing about Jackie/Hyde having kids is irrelevant to this thread and is insensitive to non-shippers like me.

Discussing T7S characters' relationships to one another is totally relevant. Red and Kitty don't exist in a vacuum on the show. Posters are free to have productive discussions about all aspects of the show. Simply stating you don't like X-character or X-ship isn't productive. It doesn't add anything to the conversation.

If you don't like Jackie/Hyde, that's fine. If you'd like to discuss why you don't like them, that's fine, too, as long as its a respectful conversation, asserted with facts from the show. But if its intention is to disrupt an on-going discussion out of personal disrespect -- as it seems to be in this thread -- that's unacceptable here.

While this is true of course, the regular posters on this board are shippers of Jackie/Hyde. So these kind of hypothetical scenarios tend to include them as 'endgame'. Anyone who doesn't ship them is welcome to add their own spin on them, including the ship of their choice. After all, none of us are writing new episodes of the show, so nothing we say is set in stone. It's all just playing around with thoughts and ideas.
Because it's fun to think about these things and it's something to talk about. There isn't any new content with a show that's been off the air for so long, so we use what we have and go from there.
