I'm glad that SCi-Fi will air Bionic Woman on Friday nights. I will probably tape the show then , instead of watching it on Wednesday nights.

From TVGuide.com

As of, like, right now, Amazon's Unbox service is offering free downloads of the very first episodes of four new NBC series: Bionic Woman, Chuck, Life and Journeyman. I can vouch for at least two of these shows, thus far.

If you're on dial-up, there's always the VHS tape you have of last season's Twenty Good Years.

NBC has drafted one of its MVPs to tinker with Bionic Woman.

According to sources, Friday Night Lights executive producer Jason Katims has agreed to lend a helping hand on the Peacock's highly touted redo as a consultant. The move comes less than a week after the abrupt exit of Bionic boss Glen Morgan, apparently over creative differences.

I'm told Katims will split his time between Bionic and FNL. And I think I speak for FNL fans when I say our brilliant little show better not suffer as a result. I do speak for you guys, right!?

Since I'm one of those fans...what can I say. FNL had a brilliant freshman season, with only maybe 1-2 subpar episodes. It depends on how much he will be involved. I really wish that maybe Ron Moore was involved with this project...he seems to have the perfect team with David Eick. Their work on BSG is ground breaking!

that's exciting news.. i liked FNL.. although i heard Katims didn't do well for Roswell... but i lost interest in that show about mid season 1. whereas FNL held my attention all season long.

i hope he does well for BW

Yeah, he gets a lot of hate from Roswell fans, but I can't comment on it either since I never saw Roswell. I'm guessing it's justified, but maybe he's learned/changed from those times. After all, it was a few years ago, people can change

Seven fast tracks the new Bionic Woman
Author: Seven Network | Sep 10, 2007, 12:25

The hotly anticipated re-imagining of Bionic Woman will be fast tracked to Seven soon after it’s September 26 US premiere. Seven previously announced it would also be fast tracking the new seasons of Prison Break and Heroes which start in America September 17 and 24 respectively. Timeslots for all three programs will be announced by Seven in coming weeks.

Filmed in Vancouver, Bionic Woman stars Michelle Ryan (Eastenders) as Jaime Sommers who, struggling as a bartender and surrogate mum to her teenaged sister, didn’t think life could get much harder. But when a devastating car accident leaves her at death’s door, Jaime’s only hope of survival is through a cutting edge, top-secret technology that comes with a hefty price.

With a whole new existence and a debt to repay, Jaime must figure out how to use her extraordinary abilities for good, while weighing the personal sacrifices she will have to make. Ultimately, it’s Jaime’s journey of self-discovery and inner strength that will help her embrace her new life as the Bionic Woman.

From the brilliant minds that re-invented the Battlestar Galactica franchise, comes this modern and relevant update of one of television’s most iconic female characters.

Also starring are Miguel Ferrer (Crossing Jordan) as Jonas, the man who employs Jaime’s boyfriend; Molly Price (Third Watch) as Ruth, Jonas’ second in command; Chris Bowers as Jaime’s boyfriend, Will, who performs the operation; Will Yun Lee as Jae, the specialised operations leader; and Lucy Kate Hale as Jaime’s sister Becca.

Bionic Woman is produced by Universal Media Studios and executive-produced by David Eick (Battlestar Galactica) and Jason Smilovic (The Wrong Man).
Fast tracks means we don't have to wait for months to get the new shows and seasons of shows, it's because Tv Stations are scared they're losing ratings, which is silly because not everyone has a Ratings box and downloads

Awesome news for the Australians The ratings argument sounds weird, I don't think people who d/l shows have that much impact on the ratings.

I wish we had fast tracks over here as well.

Can't wait for the show to start! It's going to be interesting to see if I spot any of the Vancouver landmarks that are going to probably be seen in the show (I live about an hour, hour and a half outside of Vancouver), so I may recognize some of the landmarks.

Well, I saw a prime time promo for next week NBC has labelled next wednesday "Bionic Wednesday". A really cool promotion too, with all the shows capped off by BW of course. I hope they run it a little more.
