Yeah most of the couples were misleading, I think, Chuck/Amelia, Blair/Ben, Dan/Vanessa, Nate Serena (
 )...But I think that just means NS won't be happening (or have happened) straight away... I don't think it'll be until about halfway through S2! __________________

 And maybe she meant Dan/Vanessa? Or even Blair/Chuck?  Who knows..Amy, okay, will keep that in mind now, I hope.  (: Yeah, they probably want to do that..but still, it worried me. It even took my hopes of a build up away for a second. ^^__________________

They probably just want to make sure there is a big enough fan base for it, and really it needs to be because DS is still pretty huge.

For our handful of scenes, we're already pretty big and I'm damn proud of it. Plus, after that one final scene..a LOT shippers turned their back on D/S already and started to root for SN. That speaks volumes. (:__________________

I think that too, but right now its mostly just the potential. Showing happy, friendly NS will definitely get the ball rolling.

Yup, it will!
They just need more scenes in general, period. They barely had a chance to gain shippers, but they did. If given the chance, they definitely will be good, especially with the awesome Blake/Chace chemistry. __________________

I suspect that they'd want Nate to be real competition for Dan. Serena brings out the good in Nate (aside from the cheating, that could have been handled better) so I definitely think they'd want to stray away from Blair's Nate, because people like me hated that one.
So it'd be much better for Nate's character and fan base as far as I'm concerned.__________________
