Once upon a time, in a town called Beverly Hills, the original bad boy and bad girl got together and created the first supercouple of 90210. They are considered “the most passive-aggressive, co-dependent, enabling,” relationship of the 90’s decade. They’re also considered to define the show, but if there’s one thing that’s definite about them it’s that they were intensely in love with each other and were always there for each other. They are Dylan and Brenda.

26. Because he knew she didn't sleep with Roy because he knew her.
27. Because he was never afraid to show his vulnerability to her, which was something his rarely showed to the majority of his love interests.
28. Because she was happy for him getting married even though she still loved him.
29. Because he was a surrogate member of her family.
30. Because, "No...no." Again, enough said.
31. Because thier relationship was never just physical he was there because he loved her.
32. Because their relationship went beyond and was 3 times more intense than a typical highschool, puppy love relationship.

33. Because we all know he didn't call her dorm from France just to wish her good luck.
34. Because even Kelly knew when Dylan looked back down the road, Brenda would be the great love of his life and at one point she has even said, "They are meant for each other."

37. Because she saved him from drinking and saved him from himself.
38. Because, "Brenda, what am I gonna do without you?"
39. Because if he can't do it, who can?

But as much as we know, Jack wasn't a bad father before they get divorce. Everything Dylans told us about Jack and him and his flashback in 2.03 shown us a good Dad to a little boy - but after divorce everything changed. That's what Dylan told Brandon ... in 2.03 too.

I love to think that too. But anyway, I think that Dylan had happy moments with Jack, rather than happy times

I think flashbacks showed that too, in both seasons 2 and 3 - they were not about chain of happy events, some period of time, but more like temporary bliss of happines in a few moments. At least, I had that impression.

Me too. But if he said different... Did he? What was exact quote? If he said - he was good father before divorce, that probably means that finishing relationship with Iris affected Jack more than he admited... And come on, he was ok until divorce - which happened when Dylan was 6. How much of times before age of 6 could Dylan even remember?

Then again, he remembered that he and Kelly went home from kindergarten at the age of 4, so... Dylan must have outstanding memory!

Anyway, somehow I also think Jack was never there for Christmas. Talking about busy businessman... lol

Well I mean the talk between Dylan and Brandon in 2.03 ... I don't know the original, but Dylan shows Brandon the marks in the door, which were made by his mom or dad... and he said something like "The marks end when my parents break up ... like everything else does"!

And that seems to me that before the break up and divorce Dylan doesn't have a bad childhood. I don't think that Jack or Iris were perfect... but things like "I will never let you down, I will always be there for you" aren't words which Jack seems to say to his son once more ... and so, it seems that after the divorce, everything changed.
