I think Dylan left before the Thanksgiving episode in S6 That was an episode regarding Brandon and Kelly flirting the hell out of each other while their significant others were away in NY __________________

Dylan was already gone by that time.

Yes he was. Bit of a shame because they could have extended his relationship with Valerie

Eh....I'm not sure if Dylan was much fond of Val aside from their physical relationship.
Minutes after Val left in S9, Dylan knocks on the Walsh house door. When Steve said that he just missed Val, Dylan didn't seem to care much. __________________

But that's exactly what I love about it - hot sex on the platter

I did like their scene where he just held her and comforted her.

I agree. It made me consider that their relationship was more than just a physical attraction.

Well, it did develop further, and had a bit of back-and-forth. Dylan so proudly blowing off her advances (drug and sex) , then giving in later (just sex), and having a few night-time talks re: his hypnosis. They didn't achieve a truly profound emotional intimacy, but I think ended on a note of respect and friendship (or should I say, friendliness). But later in S5 what I think Valerie was going for, really, with her sexual advances was an endgame of solid friendship that she hadn't gotten before.

I was just about to ask how and when they ended their affair, but I guess you answered in advance, sort of... After Dylan's hypnosis, right?

Yeah, well, it was around the same time but not exactly because of it, per say. They end S5 on a good note, Val teasing him about his recovery from "Hurricane Kelly" and Dylan teasing her about seeking to pursue Brandon and having the self-restraint to not try to tag along with him to visit Iris and Erica in Hawaii (which doesn't end up happening).

Oh, I don't remember it at all. Was it before or after "Life Is a bitch and so is Valerie" scene?
