I've been rewatching S2-S4 and I wonder how did Dylan know these guest characters including Joe Pedia, Jake Hansen, and Stuart Carsen. It seems like whenever a new recurring character gets introduced, Dylan knows him. I guess when Brenda said in 1x02 that no one really knows anything about Dylan's past.

What would you guys say, which of his pairings Dylan treated the worst?

The scene that always stuck in my head for the awful way in which he treated a girlfriend was Brenda in Back in the High Life Again. I get mad every time I think about the disgusting and cold manner in which he spoke to her regarding his summer with Kelly, with such a dismissive attitude in which he basically said "Get over it."

In a general sense, definitely Val and Gina. He used them for sex whilst still harboring and boasting about his feelings for Kelly, despite his acknowledgement that both of those women truly cared about him.

Yup, and he was rude to them constantly. I think that Val actually got the worst treatment, because he badmouthed her whenever he had an opportunity, and they never even officially dated, I think, because he decided so. She did not mind in the beginning, when she was playing between him and Steve, but later she wanted a relationship or some status, I think.

He did treat her bad in S3 in general, given that he cheated on her and lied about it for a long time. That scene was pretty bad too, but does not come close to his regular disrespect for Val, Gina and Kelly. In terms of consistency, I think he was actually the most respectful to Brenda. He never insulted or put her down publicly or privately like the other girls (he did not do that to Toni, but I don't count her because it was just a short run).

He was quite disrespectful to Kelly too. He humiliated her publicly, did not value her opinion although he knew it mattered a lot to her, was openly rude, made remarks on her sexual behaviour and shopping habits, and was willing to cheat on her a couple of times with Brenda, and rubbed his relationships in her face, used her to smuggle drugs, and when she dumped him for it he continued sleeping with her flatmate. Darn. That's as lame as cheating on Brenda with Kelly, I'd say.

Wow, for a guy I like, he treated women like **** way too often.
