I knew you would be, lol. And I agree that's the other big element of S5. But I love his statement. That's the one. S5 as the last good season, and actually being recognized as such. Valerie's arrival and Dylan's downward spiral drove so much action. Guh, I wish there was commentary.

Not that I know of. I heard a lot of complaints about the quality transfer. Think this will ever be on Blu-Ray? Even if that's possible, I doubt that it'll be in 1080p.

I don't get that. How could S10 have a worse picture quality than the others? Or do you just mean in general? Cause these DVDs don't look as good as others I've seen, that's for sure. My friend was talking about the difference of when the Master Copy is on film vs. video when transferring to a digital format. Even as a media major, I'm confused, LOL. I don't know what it is that makes Blu-Ray clearer. I'd buy all the seasons again, though. I find it hard to believe that the powers that be would allow a show this big and marketable to ever become extinct (like when we no longer have DVD players).

I think the blu-ray is just less video compression compared to dvd. That's all. Since blu-ray discs hold a much bigger size, they don't have to do that much compression compared to dvds. So, I doubt any TV show shown in the 90s would make much difference on Blu-Ray.

Not many 1 hr shows make it to 10 years. This is gonna be one heck of an expensive full box, LOL. I bet it'll be brought down to $300 something from the $500-600 we all have paid/will pay to get the seasons individually without a sale. Come to think of it, the complete set is hardly worth it as an addition unless there are extras. There have to be, lol.

I can't tell you how many times I got ripped off by buying the seasons individually, only to see it's cheaper to buy the entire series. I doubt there will be much extras in the series box set. But from my experience, there's usually a good booklet that summarizes every single episode. Also, I'd wish the show could've obtain the copyrights for all the original music that they had to replace in the earlier seasons.

Amazon.com just took off the Season 10 DVD and the Complete Series DVD box photo. But the price is now listed at $41.99 for Season 10...now taking pre-orders. I think the price would be less considering it has fewer episodes.
