Actually I don't care , scratch that, I care that her sales aren't that good but I like this album more. Her songs are actually amazing.

There are 2 things that Perez said that I do want to point out though:

Even when she was relatively unknown, her last CD debuted with 34,000. OUCH!!!

Yea .. I still dont understand why she couldn't outsell her debut.

America HATES Vanessa Hudgens.

I'd say HR hates Vanessa instead of America. Hard to sell anything if you get basically zero promotion.

Oh and I went to the store and asked whether they know when the cd is going to be released in Finland. Answer was "Who the heck is Vanessa Hudgens" ... a little pause ... "High school musical 3 soundtrack coming later this year"

whatever about Perez.. i bet he didn't even listen to the album, or did any background research as to what the professional music critics deemed the album.. but i will agree with him about the fact that 'Sneakernight' didn't help.. but as we all know it's really HR not promoting in a length of time, long enough so that people were aware that her album was dropping, aside from the fact that unless you go online && take the time to look for things they hadn't heard anything from the album, so why buy something when you don't have a frame of reference?

yea she had a music video.. but nothing on radio.. had they sent out a radio-friendly song i've a feeling it would've peaked people's interest enough to check the album out.. even if they sent 'Sneakernight' out, i don't think it would've hurt..

but anyways.. like Chay said, Perez is hardly the voice of America.. i'll give it to him that he gets millions of hits, but that blog is nothing but haters on top of haters.. all he does is talk half of those celebrities could give a flying about him, so i don't see why i should.. he aint no one special

I thought about this... of the thousands of aspiring actors just in LA alone - how many do you think will give anything to be talk about by Perez?... yeah he's dogging Vanessa but if you think about it - he spent a lot of his time digging for materials just so he can write a piece on her. she makes enough impact for him to do that;he was probably watching Billboard's site just to find out how "Identified" did... at the very least she gets him a lot of hits therefore great business for him...i would start to worry if he starts talking nice about her or worst won't talk about her at all...

guess there's always an upside to something.. i just can't stand the fact that he continually dogs her but he does it to everyone so i can't too riled up.. gotta look at it like V does, shake the haters off && just live life..
