I Can Hear The Bells is so hysterical in the stage musical version, and it sort of becomes this bittersweet melody in the movie, it's really interesting the contrast for me, which I think is partly why I grew to love it more.

I've never actually seen a stage production of this, but I do feel that part of why I am drawn to it is Nikki's interpretation of it which is kind of cheeky & upbeat. It's like she's really just putting all her emotions & hopes about link into it which I love..

I have seen the stage production once before but I have to say that I enjoyed the movie more, I would go back to see it on stage again, it may just have been the mix of cast at that time but I just didn't believe in the characters on stage the way I did with the movie.

I truly love plays and stage productions but I have to assume it would be hard for me to love anything on stage that Zac had done in a movie. I would always want Zac in it

I did go back and see it a second and third time because Link had blonde hair the first two times - because I saw understudy Link. I just HAD to keep going back until Link had dark hair like he was supposed to - like Zac!!

I also feel like there's a danger when you see someone do a part as Amazing as Zac did Link to see other people work w the same material. I'd probably be such a party-popper going: "Oh Zac did that so much better." after every line/song/dance move etc. .

Fortunately it's actually different enough to have a separation Like the movie musical is a different interpretation of the overall tone.

I really should branch out more because it seems like you have a good time going to these musicals Dani! -- The last thing I saw in a Theatre was Samuel Beckett which probably is the furthest thing from a musical! I have seen JC Superstar, but tbh I really disliked it & the Movie equally.

I saw Les Miserables at an outdoor theater a few years ago and just love the new Jackman movie and DVD! I love about all musicals, but Hairspray is my favorite.

I've seen stuff like Annie and Oliver and Peter Pan. That's about it really. Just local stuff, lots of kids

I love stage musicals, although the last one I went to was with Dani in London last year, I need to get back to the theater.

I really love all the songs Zac takes part of in this. He has a wonderful voice and it's sort of like that playfullness & joy in his personality & gleam in is Eyes reaches it -- it's quite cool in a way!


That's so great! I think it's so awesome you seem to be one of those ppl that can actually get tickets to shows -- it's a skillset! -- And I Think you mean the US because America is a contient involving Canada & South America -- I know what you meant but it's one of my language peeves.
