Funny fact about The Twist: It was actually invented by Chubby Checker when he stepped out of the shower & started towling off his backside. He felt that could be a cool dance & it turned out it was! :yay:

I love all those dances -- there's so many great ones & they mainly came from equally great songs ie DD Sharp's Mashed Potatoe! :thud: They did that in the Movie too. :D

I wasn't around back then even as a lurker but I do believe the board was rather :crazy: at times with the different "shipper" groups, it even went as far as "shipper wars" :lol:
