So, did anyone see The Spoils? I did, in London a few weeks ago. Front row, few feet away. Man, that guy has charisma! Excellent actor, amazing and emotional play. How he, or anyone, can do that 8 times a week I will never know.
I do have a question about the play, so if you've seen it, here it is (obvious spoiler): When Ben sets up for Sarah's visit, he makes popcorn in the microwave. When he takes it out, he rips open the bag and the popcorn spills all over the stage. He cleans a bit, scene goes on. But in the written play, the popcorn spills áfter the scene, not before. Did they change this for the live play, or was this an improv and does he normally spill later? So, when did he spill the popcorn when you saw the play?  |
