It's good, but I don't see why these books are sooooooooooo popular. I mean the story it's cool, but there are many cool detective books and I don't see what makes this one so special. Also there's quite a lot of nudity, lesbian sex and other things that probably won't be shown in the American version.


I saw "The Greatest". Not really the best movie, but I thought she was perfect in it.

Yes it's based on book trilogy. There're 3 Swedish movies, so they'll probably make the same.


I love Susan and Pierce also. Carey and Pierce had many scenes together. The movie was really easy to watch, but the story was quite predictable. I'm glad they didn't make too much drama. I was a bit worried they might.

I googled Abbie Cornish and realized she was in A Good Year.


I can't wait for Never Let Me Go. Carey, Keira, Charlotte Rampling and Sally Hawkins...it will be awesome for sure.

I know she's with Shia. I don't picture them together though. I thought that they just met last September.

I love Marion. She's so awesome. I love her English and I'm happy she'll be working with so many different directors. I just saw 4 movies with her for now.

I saw: Big Fish, Nine, La Vie en Rose and A Good Year. She was great in all of them. She's especially beautiful in Nine , but her performance as Edith Piaf was just amazing.


Thanks for the link. I'm kind of disappointed about the actors rumored for the lead male role. In the Swedish movie the guy is not supposed to be a beautiful man. I was hoping they'd take someone less pretty, but I guess I should have known better. Knowing Fincher, he'll take Brad at the end. I like Brad, but he's not a good choice for the role imo.

I haven't seen " Big Fish " , but Alison Lohman in it , I adore her
She was just perfect in " La Vie en Rose " .. her performance was breathtaking
I loved her in " Nine " too , she was amazing and really beautiful

if the role needs an ugly man , I don't see why they're choosing those actors
but if the actor in the movie was ugly , but the role didn't needs that
so it's ok , then

You're right. I haven't read the book and I don't know how's the guy supposed to look like. Maybe it's just the Swedish guy who's strange...

I hope Carey will be in the movie. For now it's just written rumored on imdb.


About Alison Lohman. I saw her in "Drag Me to Hell" and I don't remember seeing her in "Big Fish". I should re-watch the movie anyway. I thought it was one of the better Tim Burton's film in the last years.
