Well Audrey was nominated for oscar. So probably yes.


I know that Emma is writting the script, but I didn't know she was mean about Keira. I don't know how she has so much power over deciding about the cast.

I don't think Emma meant it to be rude, even though I don't know the context where she said it.
She probably thinks Carey is better suited for the role than Keira and it came out wrong

Carey might have a shot at a second oscar nomination with this. I haven't seen the old movie yet tho

I agree with you, Carey is much better actress. But I saw the Swedish movie 2 days ago and I have to say I can easily picture Kristen in that role - I'm talking just about the looks. The girl has black short hair, she's skinny and tomboyish, so I can understand that Kristen was the first girl they thought about.
