I read this:

Aragorn’s line goes back to Isildur almost 40 generations back and then another 25 or so from there back to Elros, Elrond’s brother who chose to be a man and became the first King of Numenor.

So if we add these generations up:

25 (Númenor) + 1 (Elendil) + 1 (Isildur) + 10 (Arnor) + 15 (Arthedain) + 15 (Chieftains before Aragorn) = 67 generations from Elros to Aragorn.

Therefore, Elrond would be Aragorn’s 65-times-great-uncle.
