It really helped in changing my take on Buddy.
 I really enjoyed their relationship/dynamic. Made me cry a couple of times. They had a couple amazing scenes.__________________

Yeah I certainly thought way more of Buddy after what he did for Santiago, and how he further encouraged/supported him. They definitely had some tearjerker scenes. I liked how we got to see them both grow as characters from their interaction.

I really loved when Buddy had Santiago invite over his friends, and he kind of freaked out and didn't know what to do. But in the end he decided to trust them, I really admired Buddy for that. And then poor Santiago tried to do the right thing. So heartbreaking all the way around. I definitely want to see more Buddy/Santiago.

I admired Buddy for that too. And I loved how much it meant to Santiago that his friends not screw that up and disrespet Buddy and his house/stuff. One of my favorite scenes between them was after Santiago had gone to get the ball back and was all beat up and Buddy said he didn't care about the ball, just him.
