I'm the same way, menz815. I used to try to write multi-chapter fics, but I've realized that I really only have the attention span to write one-shots or chapter fics that are only 2 or 3 chapters, tops. I once wrote a 14 chapter story, but that was the most painful writing experience of my life. I got really tired of it after about chapter 8, but I already had the other chapters planned out. I only finished it because I hate leaving things unfinished, and I didn't want to become that writer who leaves their stories hanging.

I've only ever published stories for two fandoms. I've experimented with writing Lord of the Rings and Gossip Girl fic, but never published any of it. A couple years ago, I published a lot of 24 fic (all of it of the Bill/Karen pairing). That was where I wrote the 14 chapter fic that I kind of can't stand any more. Within the past year, I've started writing 30 Rock fic, which I'm having a much better time writing. I've stuck to one-shots, which I think is why I'm enjoying it so much more.

I wrote a one-shot recently, and it was really liberating knowing that I only had to complete that one piece. Much of my other stuff has been series, and I never finish them

I've enjoyed the one-shots I've done a lot, so maybe I should try more of that. But I also really love digging in deep with a series. I just suck at updating, and get bored with it after time

I use to write Fan Fiction. I wrote for TV shows - Gilmore Girls, CSI, and Angel. Here is the link for all to read the fics I've wrote. Those lame fics. ShortieGirl06 - FanFiction.Net ... I wrote those when I was 16. I'm now 21.

My most popular one is Once Is Not Enough, a Gilmore Girls fanfic - FanFiction.Net with 76 reviews. People are upset that I didn't update it. I guess I just lost interest.... at least I didn't leave that chapter with a cliffhanger.

I think my whole time there, I just completed one story... all the others are just short pieces or uncompleted ones.

I started writting ficcies with Buffy. I wrote quite a lot of stories. At first, I started with classical Buffy/Spike, and than I wrote mostly Buffy/Giles
And also Angel/Spike.
Than I wrote quite a lot of Real Personn Slash with singers (oh my! did I really do that?) I'm so ashamed.

And now, I'm working on Criminal minds stories. I didn't publish my stories yet, because they're just drabble.

I'm working on a Hotch/OMC, with Hotch/Reid implied, and on a Reid/OMC, with Hotch/Reid implied.
And I'm quite obsessed with Reid and his drug addiction. But I don't have any intersting plot in mind yet.

I love writing and reading, I enjoy both, but sometimes things get complicated for me. When I write I really forget everything around me and last year I got myself in trouble at Uni (I blame TV show "Bones" for that) . I started writing at age 16 and I don't want stop. I also write about Lost and when I started I used to write about an old TV show, "The Lost World". I rather to read one shots than to write 'em.

Yeah, I need a lot of time to write, because once I start it usually goes on and I am always glad when it started

Yeah, I always have trouble starting, like finding a way into writing again and so I'm glad when I started... But lately, it's been less and less easy to find ways to get writing

I wrote 5 chapters of a series I want to finish, but idk... I haven't written slash porn before and I'm intimidated by all the good stuff I've been reading The first 5 chapters are just prelude to porn

I do have a oneshot I wrote for the zac/nikki milestone, which is a zikki/kradam dirty crossover thing Zac catches Nikki reading Kradam fan fiction
