I freaking love that Dean called Sam out on the way he killed Alastair. Although I wish he'd known about the blood-sucking too...but still, I think it was fair of Dean to be wary about Sam sleeping with Lilith, especially considering everything that's happened! And the way he was ready to leave but of course couldn't, even if his brother was being a doosh. He's still completely there for him, trying anything to save him.

On a lighter note, the laundry scene was hilarious. I love how Dean kept reading what Sam was gonna do, and the "dick" line was so funny

I think it's a huge step for Dean to say that he thinks/believes Sam will go darkside out loud. We know he's been fearing it since John whispered in his ear (and at this point I'd really love to find out, just how much John actually knew) but for him to say it, GO DEAN! It order to save Sam, you have to quit protecting him, time for tough love.

^ Dean's been letting Sam get away with crap for far too long now! He's doing everything he can to try and save him from going darkside and yet Sam's making it harder and harder for him.

But I gotta say that I saw it as a sign of hope when Sam actually tried to kill her instead for more gross things and that Dean and Cas found a way to save him. I know it's only temporary, but it's the most hoperfully signs we have ahd in a whiler if you ask me. And the fact that Dean is talking about Sam going darkside is good too because them maybe they can stop dancing around each other and solve this!

^ Good point Faith, there's a tincy wincy bit of hope there, but I don't think it's enough, especially when Dean finds out why Sam's gotten so powerful so quickly!

there are signs of a little bit of hope, but the sam we knew in season 2 isn't there anymore, as mucha s i want him to be. the sam we all loved would have NEVER lied to a little kid, NEVER. and he didn't even flinch when he was lying... I HOPE next year is about them finding their way back to being brothers again, but im not getting my hopes up, sadly.

I agree, I was so shocked that Sam actually did the right thing for once! To be honest, considering how low he's sank so far, I would've expected him to do it. So it was a slight reprieve seeing that he didn't go through with it.

But I didn't like how he again accused Dean of hiding from Lilith, and felt like he alone had the burden to save the world on his shoulders, because he doesn't even! It's so arrogant to assume he's the only who who can, that bugs me to all hell!

Seriously, it hurts my brain trying to reason why Sam would think only he can save the world! Friggin Angels have come down from heaven saying that Dean is the one who can stop it, yet Sam insists Dean isn't capable and only he is strong enough to do it. How many more people have to tell him what he is doing is WRONG before he realizes that all this demon blood stuff is a load of crap?!

He fails to understand that Dean HAS to stop it. It doesn't matter if Sam doesn't think he's strong enough, or even if he's physically not, but Dean has to be the one who does it either way, because it's HIS DESTINY. Why the hell is Sam still on a huge power trip thinking that the blood gives him an advantage? NOT OF THE GOOD KIND, IDJIT! Anita, I don't think he's gonna listen to anyone, it's something he's gonna find out for himself, how wrong he's been.

Exactly! It's Dean's destiny to stop it, not Sam's! I'm not saying he doesn't play a role in it, but the way he's going it's not gonne be the role he's hoping for!
