House and Cameron #158:Because he's not afraid to show his vulnerable side to her.
Welcome to the 158th Wounded Hearts - House & Cameron Appreciation Thread  by Laura Katie Jacobs: There's always going to be some sexual tension, chemistry between the two of them.  by Silvia "Cameron makes House uneasy. He's very conscious of the gap in age between them, and my guess is he feels a bit like the Phantom of the Opera around her. He likes being near her but wants to hide himself away" ~ Hugh Laurie I think there is so much more to explore and delve into their relationship, physical attraction is just one, but I don't want that part to happen now. I want to see their relationship as we have seen it this season evolve, and see where that takes us. Let's have more of the subtle moments we have enjoyed so much throughout the seasons, the angst, the eyesex, the subtle touches, the tension, the fights, the playful banter, the unsaid understanding, House's curiousity of Cameron. How he is intrigued by her and can't quite figure her out, even when he thinks he has, and the subtext. So, when they do feel at one moment they want to be together, it will mean so much more.. We have the original one, paired with no other woman than Cameron.  by Caroline Why do you think Cameron is in love with House? Talent can be very captivating. Working with someone who is a genius in his job, makes you admire him in a special way, in a way it makes you see him sexy. People tend to get close to other persons who have had the same experiences in life. And even if House is colder than Cameron, they both went through hurtful traumas in their lives that makes them bond together. Maybe their story will never even begin but they will be tied to each other for life. Jennifer Morrison~  by Pandora (S1/4) "As for Dr. Cameron, it would be disingenuous to ignore that attraction. She has feelings for him, she can't just turn that off. And he has feelings for her too, in a much more subtle way. It'll probably always be there." ~ David Shore Though I am very much a television addict, I'm not really into shipping couples much. The one exception to this is House/Cameron. Ever since I began watching this show (prompted by a friend who continued to pester me about how wonderful it was), I immediately noticed the attraction between House/Cameron. It just jumped out at me. This sweet immunologist seemed like the only one who could affect the grumpy doctor. I found their relationship endearing. They balance eachother out. House has obviously had an impact on Cameron's life as they've worked together. And whether he's willing to admit to it or not, Cameron's influenced House as well. The age difference may not appeal to some viewers, but there's an obvious attraction and intense chemistry between these two that can't be denied. They aren't perfect, but there's enough depth between them to make their relationship last. It's grown considerably from that Pilot episode to their kiss in Half-Wit; and it'll be interesting to see it further expand as the show goes on. Honestly, Wilson said it best, Cameron brings House to a "closer understanding of his wounded heart." ~*bitterswt*~  "I don't know if they're gonna end up together, but I love their bickering. That's the kind that usually precedes an emotional involvement." ~ Hugh Laurie  I think that aspect of their relationship has always fascinated me. Ever since S1, we've seen House portrayed as this character who doesn't care to let anyone in.. Yet that doesn't stand true when you look at his relationship with Cameron. House seems to have a special connection with her that doesn't translate when you look at how he treats his other employees (Foreman, Chase). Their connection is completely different than the relationship that House has with anyone else on the show. And the fact that we've seen it continue to grow and evolve throughout the seasons only serves to make it more interesting. ~Kay  It is just a relationship that has really hit a note somewhere deep inside. They are different in so many ways, a world apart if you may but it's just something about them, I don't know how to say it. They just have a connection, something unspoken that makes them click so beautifully. I know how people make such a huge deal about their age difference but why is that the only argument they seem to have? If the age difference would be 5 years, would it make any difference? If you manage to find someone in this life you feel a true connection to, age is nothing but a number. Why are people so focused on that? She understands him, he trusts her, she accepts him as he is, he is opening up to her because he knows she understands him because they are both damaged and have scars; his are both external and internal while hers are all on the inside. I see that connection and to me, that's why they will always be my OTP on this show. Cuddy and House have already had a shot way back when and while it didn't work out then, it will not work out this time either. It will always be the same as it was before. The scene where he tells her that he does not like her is nearly unbelievable. But because of that complications every little emotion they both show is so great. I think we, as the viewers, are getting suppressed all the time, like a valve that is under permanent pressure: every few episodes they open it up for one second. If they open it up completely (House and Cameron marry for example) the whole tension that was built up would have been blown up.
